HELP US MAINTAIN THIS WEBSITE!
We are a voluntary organisation reliant on goodwill at our end and occasional donations towards the upkeep of this website. In its first year of existence, Sylviapankhurst.com was sponsored by the Heritage Lottery Fund and by its creators, Hornbeam Publishing Limited. Since then, the Feminist Review Trust have kindly paid our webhosting fees to keep us in cyberspace right up until September 2013, and we have benefited from three further donations towards upkeep, from private individuals here in Great Britain and in the USA. Apart from that, we’re on our own, but as we have promised the Heritage Lottery Fund we will maintain this site and keep it up to date at least until 2013, we need more help with administration costs until then – and hopefully afterwards, too! Feedback from our readers, and the regular enquiries we receive suggest there is a strong need for this site, so we intend to keep it running for as long as we are able.
We need money towards new computer hardware, software and expenses (no donation is too small!) – and to pay a proportion of the extensive hours our volunteers put into running this site. Much of our work is responding to queries about Sylvia Pankhurst and the Suffragettes – helping researchers, museum and gallery staff, television and film producers, artists, writers, teachers, students and many others. We aim to assist wherever we can by offering information on the availability of sources, but we find ourselves answering a wide range of queries.

Unless you prefer to remain anonymous, we will be happy to include your name in the list of supporters published on the site. Your contact or other details will not be passed on to anybody else, nor will they be used for any other purpose by ourselves. Please note that this site, and our organisation, prefers to avoid political affiliations. We are happy to tell individual donors exactly how their funds have been used.
